Introduction: What The Nope-Paranormal Pondering

The name, "What the Nope," comes from my days traveling with the Greatest Show on Earth, i.e. Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus. A friend of mine on the show we were touring with shared my love of strange creatures, ghost stories, and general weirdness. Believe me when I say that when you live on a circus train for 2 years, you come in contact with a great deal of weird shit. Our catch phrase for this was "what the…nope!"  I decided essentially that it was a good catch phrase for this blog site. I may be wrong about that.

The fundamental "point" of this blog site is to share stories that have happened in my life related to strange events, paranormal encounters, and an outlet to talk shop about any wacked out theories out there.

Obviously, there are a lot of mixed emotions about the subject of paranormal events. I think the mixed emotion comes from our inability, for whatever reason, to be daring in our thinking about the unknown, or, in some cases, "the known."

On the record, nothing I discuss in this blog takes a front seat to my beliefs about there being a Creator. I think that belief is a must for anyone exploring into darker/or more unusual subject matter. I also believe that my belief in the Creator is strengthened by exploring alternative subjects relating to paranormal experiences. I also have first hand knowledge of such subjects because I grew up experiencing things that "normal" kids do not experience. In essence, it sort of framed up my thinking, making me a prime candidate for being "out of the box."

To me, paranormal situations/topics/experiences, create an even greater reality that in my mind makes  God make more sense than just the simplistic accepted views by modern society. Example: Modern thinking accepts that we all evolved via a big accident a long long time ago. In my experiences, nothing, and I mean NOTHING is an accident. There is a grand design and a Grand Designer of that design. Chaos is actually perfect order when viewed from a "microscope." I could go on and on about this subject but I'm simply stating it so that everyone knows where I stand and therefore can take what they want from the stories I share on this blog site.

Also, I'd like to state for the record that I'm not an expert on anything. Well, maybe one thing but that's related to entertainment and not anything pertaining to what I'll be talking about on this forum.

If you think I'm crazy after hearing my theories, stories, or whatever else I post on this site, then please feel free to close yourself off and discontinue reading anything I write. However, if you think I'm crazy and continue to read my posts, then maybe, just maybe, you are also in a mad search for answers in this adventure on planet earth.  Somethin' to think about, no?

Enjoy the posts and feel free to offer your own stories or links to your blogs in the comment feed.

Live long and prosper!
